About the 72x20 size
72x20 (182.9 x 50.8 cm) is an oversized panoramic format. It is a good fit for landscape panoramas, cityscapes, and long-format pieces meant to hang above a sofa, bed, or console; at this scale it works as a statement piece for living rooms, lobbies, offices, and restaurants.
Two ways to order
- Canvas Stretching (Mail-in Art): send us your rolled, unstretched canvas painting or print. We stretch it tight and square over 1.5" bars so it is ready to hang without a frame or to drop into a floater frame.
- Blank Canvas: a 72x20 primed cotton canvas, stretched and stapled on the back, ready for acrylic, oil, or mixed media.

- Order the "Canvas Stretching (Mail-in Art)" option for 72x20.
- Roll your canvas with the image facing out and ship it in a sturdy tube.
- We stretch it on 1.5" bars and return it within 5–7 days of arrival.
FAQ
How much extra canvas does my artwork need?
For a 1.5" gallery wrap we recommend at least 2" of extra canvas on every side, so for a 72x20 finished piece the unstretched canvas should be about 76 x 24 inches. If your piece has less border, contact us and we will advise on options.
Can it be framed after stretching?
Yes. 1.5" bars fit floater frames, and we also offer custom framing at the studio.
