Is It Worth Reupholstering a Couch?
Reupholstering usually makes sense when the frame is solid hardwood, the piece has sentimental or design value, or it's an unusual size that's hard to replace. A comparable new custom sofa often costs considerably more. If your sofa is particleboard with a stapled frame, we'll tell you honestly that replacing it may be the better value.

We source from all the major U.S. fabric vendors. For homes with kids and pets we recommend performance fabrics such as Crypton and Sunbrella upholstery lines, tight-weave microfibers and leather. For formal living rooms, choose from velvets, linens, chenilles and designer prints. Test documentation is available on request, and you can bring your own fabric (COM).
