Leather Sofa & Chair Reupholstery
Cracked, peeling or torn leather doesn't mean the end of a great sofa or club chair. Modern Memory Design reupholsters, repairs and recolors leather furniture in our Hasbrouck Heights, NJ workshop. We replace worn panels, recover entire pieces in new top-grain leather, and convert fabric furniture to leather. We serve homes and offices across Bergen, Passaic and Essex County and New York City.
Leather Services
- Full leather reupholstery. Sofas, sectionals, recliners, club chairs, Chesterfields and ottomans in new hides.
- Leather repair & recoloring. Scuffs, fading, cracks and worn arms are repaired and recolored to match.
- Panel replacement. Only the worn seat, arm or cushion panels are replaced, color-matched as closely as possible.
- Peeling bonded leather. Bonded or “bicast” leather that flakes can't be repaired. We recover it in genuine leather, faux leather or performance fabric.
- Tears and seam repair. Re-stitching split seams and patching tears from below.

Ranges include leather. Hides come from leading U.S. leather suppliers, with spec sheets on request. Most full leather jobs qualify for free pickup & delivery (jobs over $1,500); otherwise it's $100 in NJ and $150 in NYC.
Leather Chesterfields & Tufted Pieces
Deep-button tufting and rolled arms are hand work. We rebuild Chesterfield tufting with new foam and buttons so the diamonds sit crisp and even. Related: leather recliners, antique restoration, leather office chairs and leather car seats.
